Ethereal Tales on Frequency Of Fear!

Yes, it is pretty exciting stuff!
I am so chuffed that Zombie Astronaut has been kind enough to include one of the stories from the Ethereal Tales audio book on the great podcast Frequency of Fear! Thank you!!

The tale in question is 'The Rules', which is written and read by Kevin Joseph.
It is a brilliant tale of how vampires rather than making humans extinct (like the Neanderthals) get relegated to the post of imaginary bogeymen (and women) by a disbelieving human race. Please go and have a listen. The whole podcast is brilliant and I warn you there is a good chance you will be hooked to this quirky mix of humour and horror.

Find it here...http://www.frequencyoffear.com/ and the episode you want to hear Kevin's story is Fangs for the Maladies Pt 2

Of course after you hear it you may decide you would like to listen to the rest of the audio book, if so you can find it for sale at www.cutencreepy.co.uk

In closing I would like to thank Mr Taliesin for making this collaboration with Frequency of Fear, and if you like vampires then you might want to check out his vampire film review blog Taliesin Meets The Vampires

Return of the Blogger

Hello, I'm back...did you miss me?
Probably not as we never really had the chance to get properly acquainted did we. Still not to worry...no recriminations, no regrets, let's just start afresh eh...;-)

Well, Issue Six is due out on 29th January. In all honesty I don't think I ever really believed I would get this far with the zine...but here we are, and it feels good to be able to say I have done this much and am still keen to continue.

Pop along and check out the sneeky peeks for this issue here
If you like what you see you can buy the zine here along with copies of every issue printed so far.

There are issues mind you, cash flow is not great and I may need to re-think the free postage of complimentary zines to contributors. However I have plans to make downloads of back issues available for a small fee, which with any luck may help the money situation.

By the way, you might like to know that there is also an Ethereal Tales audio book available.
Yes, three CD's containing just under four hours of great audio entertainment, plus a booklet with information about the writers and readers.
The stories contained are some of the best tales from the first four issues of the zine, some read by the writers and the rest by voice artists. Certainly well worth a listen, and available exclusively from Cute 'N' Creepy for £7.50 plus p&p.
If you need more convincing you can sample the audio book via the video advert below.

Issue Four Now Out!

Well, it has been awhile since I posted a blog. I blame this on various things including my sister-in-law's wedding (which I made the cake a a few other things for, this kept me rather busy), also just after the wedding I went down with a stinking cold (not swine flu...don't worry). Still despite all this I managed to finish and print out Issue Four of the zine, which was published on the scheduled date of Monday 27th July.

If you wish to buy the zine you can do so via the website www.etherealtales.co.uk or from my online shop www.cutencreepy.co.uk
The price is £2.50 plus P&P and this issue has 48 pages making it even better value (if that is possible)

We also have an advert on DJ Cruel Britainnia's 'FADEOUT' the Dark Alternative show on PHOENIX RADIO. If you want to have a listen the podcast can be found here...

Calling All Singles!

We recently became affiliated with gothicmatch.com, and we now have our own version of the dating site called www.etherealcontacts.co.uk for gothic and alternative folks.

So if you are single, or know someone who is...or if you are looking to meet new people for friendship (there is a box you can tick to say you are looking for friends and/or penpals) then please take a moment to pop along and sign up.

You never know, by doing so you may find that new special someone...but you will definately help Ethereal Tales as I get a small payment for everyone who signs up for a free account, which will go towards helping with the production costs of the zine. Its a win, win situation...:-)

It's finished...at last!!

Yes folks, at last the video advert for Issue One is finished!
I actually finished it last night, but it was late...the computer had been playing up and it had taken three attempts to save the darn thing. Then of course it takes time to upload to youtube and process. Suffice to say that I wasn't in the mood for blogging by the time it was uploaded.

Today I thought, right I can go on the blog and announce the good news. But then I took one last look at the video before hand and realised that I had spelt the name of one of the writers wrong. Argh! So I changed the name on the saved version, and went through the whole process again.

Anyway, it is now really finished...no, honest it is...lol

Take a look and let me know what you think of it.

Right, that is about it for today...but I will be back...:-)
